THE TREEHOUSES
Bliss Ridge offers two extraordinary hand-built treehouses—architectural masterpieces crafted within living trees and positioned for some of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the Mad River Valley. Each space brings guests closer to the surrounding wilderness while still offering thoughtful comforts.
The larger, insulated treehouse serves as a year-round retreat—your private “tree-in, tree-out” home base for relaxation or adventure. The original treehouse, The Bird’s Nest, offers a more whimsical, airy stay from May through October. Both are just a short stroll to the pond, wedding meadow, and events barn, yet feel completely secluded.

The 4-Season Treehouse is our larger, luxury lodging option, perched at the edge of the woods and meadow, above the wedding ceremony meadow. Built in 2023, this house is fully insulated with a guest-controlled thermostat, and is open year-round. An almost wrap-around deck, a large upstairs loft, as well as a higher kids loft area, creates plenty of space for seven guests and an ideal getting-ready location for events even with large wedding parties. THE BIRD’S NEST
The “Bird’s Nest” is our original treehouse, built in 2020, over a babbling brook, at the highest point on the farm, and offers a Dr. Seuss-style abode, accessed via suspension bridge, with two sleeping lofts, a queen bed on the main level, a veranda, an outdoor (hot) shower, a two-burner stove top, propane grill on the deck, gorgeous lofted ceilings. Open May-late October.
